Welcome to Spegle Hyllandsfoss, in the heart of Telemark.

 With the goal of providing great experiences close to nature, the two siblings, Kjetil and Kari began the Spegle adventure in 2022.

​

The first Spegle cabin of hotel standard is located by the Hylland waterfall in the mountainous Vinje. The cabin has three walls of mirror glass which reflect the surrounding nature. It gives you a sense of being outside while inside.

​

Right on the water, the place is both picturesque and peaceful. The waterfall is normally regulated, but when the water is released from the higher reservoirs, the waterfall is a spectacular sight.

​

The place is a perfect starting point for all sorts of experiences, including outdoors, culture, local food, and sports in the area. Or maybe you would just like to calm down surrounded by pine and water. You can also use the sauna, which is set on old foundations out on the water next to the cabin.

​

There are several hiking paths nearby, and you can go fishing for free in the lake. During winter, cross country ski trails are found in the woods nearby.

​

Åmot, the local commercial centre is 1,5 km from us.
